I had got a call to work at this hotel I've been looking for a job but I didn't apply there. I worked the door about a week then we had this even at night it was busy I was the receptionist and assisted all the guest made sure everyone was comfortable. I brought my 10 old son 6yr old daughter and 2yr old son. We stayed in the hotel. The next morning as we were leaving my oldest son liked at me like I was crazy asked why did I make them sleep on the old abandoned hotel in like huh I work here been working here a week now. He was like they're nothing here and he's scared. Then this black old man tries to take my 2 year old clothes off in yelling abs grab him. My oldest is like what are you doing why are you yelling at yourself no one is there I'm like you dint see this old man trying to take your brother he was like I see him on the floor and you tussling but no one right there. He was like you dont see I'm like no I look outside and look back to see it is deserted I'm scared I'm like what's going on I then to leave and don't see my 2 year old. I hear rattling in the cooks kitchen and he's in there playing with dishes I grab his hand and we run out. I realize the last who called and all the guest were deceased and we were the only people in that hotel the whole night and I was by myself the whole week. I woke up
Dreams like this can be quite vivid and often reflect the dreamer's emotions, personal experiences, and subconscious concerns. Here are some potential interpretations of your dream about working at the hotel:
Seeking Stability: The hotel in your dream may represent a transitional phase in your life, especially since you mentioned looking for a job. This could indicate your desire for stability and security, particularly regarding your work life.
Parenting Concerns: The presence of your children in the dream might highlight your feelings and worries about their safety and well-being. The situation with the old man trying to take your younger son’s clothes could symbolize anxiety about potential dangers in your life or feelings of being overwhelmed as a parent.
Isolation and Loneliness: Your realization that you were alone in the hotel, with all the guests deceased, may represent feelings of isolation or being overwhelmed. It could suggest that, despite being surrounded by people (like family or potential work colleagues), you may feel alone in your struggles or decisions.
Fear of the Unknown: The dream may evoke feelings of fear concerning the unknown, particularly as you navigate new job opportunities. The abandoned hotel setting and the ghosts of past guests imply that there may be unresolved issues or fears that linger in your subconscious.
Confusion and Denial: Your son’s confusion about the presence of the old man and the deserted hotel could reflect your own feelings of confusion in your waking life. This may relate to situations where you feel unsupported or misunderstood, particularly in your decision-making processes.
Introspection and Reflection: This dream may invite you to reflect on your current situation and how you perceive your responsibilities. It could suggest the need to address fears and anxieties that may be affecting your family life or career.
Transformation: Sometimes, dreaming of hotels can represent transitional phases in life. Your new job, the interaction with the spirits of the past, and the presence of your children could mean that you are undergoing a transformation, and your subconscious is prompting you to evaluate where you are and where you want to go.
In summary, this dream seems to encapsulate various layers of emotions related to your job search, family dynamics, feelings of safety, and possibly feelings of being overwhelmed in your current life situation.
